What is the recovery time?
Recovery from a tummy tuck typically involves several stages. Most patients can return to work and light activities after at least 2 weeks, although strenuous activities should be avoided for about 6 weeks, at which point most patients can expect to see complete results. Normal swelling and bruising are to be expected, as well as the use of a compression garment for about 6 weeks to maintain results.
